Fall Mini Sessions
Our Fall Mini Sessions this year took place on a hidden farm in Lancaster County, a place with rolling fields and great soft light.
Stephanie and I brought along a few simple props to keep things feeling comfortable and real, our favorite being the big egg chair. We set it next to the field where the grass caught the light perfectly. From there, we wandered the property, stopping wherever the light or the laughter felt right. Families explored the stream, walked through the fields, and made it their own.
What I love about these sessions is how fast they move, but how much can still happen in such a short amount of time. A quick laugh, a tickle battle, a small adventure, all the pieces that tell a family’s story.
By the end of the day, we had everything from quiet moments tucked into the egg chair to explorers at the edge of the horizon. It was exactly what I hoped these mini-sessions would be: relaxed, warm, and a reminder that beautiful images don’t have to come from big productions, just good people, good light, and a little curiosity.
