A Morning of Movement, Joy, and Belonging: GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge 2025

This past Sunday, Stephanie and I had the privilege of volunteering at the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge in Lancaster, and let me tell you, it was the kind of day that leaves you full in the best way.
Steph was one of the cheerful route volunteers (if you heard someone enthusiastically cheering you on while helping keep the course clear, that was her), while I roamed the park on my bike, doing my best to capture the joy, energy, and sense of community that filled the place from start to finish.
There’s something really special about the GiGi’s Playhouse community. The love, the support, the celebration of every step, whether you ran, walked, dashed, or just showed up, it was all seen and felt. I’m so grateful we got to be there, not just as volunteers but as participants in something genuinely meaningful.
If you were part of the event and want to relive some of the moments, the full photo gallery is now online:
📸 Looking for your group or family photo?
Be sure to check out the section labeled "Family Groups" within the gallery. That’s where you’ll find many of the posed shots taken before and after the walk.
Thank you, GiGi’s Playhouse Lancaster, for letting us be part of this day. It was an honor to donate our time, and honestly, it felt like we got way more back in return.
Can’t wait for next year.
