That one good day in February!
Who says portrait sessions have to wait for warmer weather? Winter can offer some truly beautiful and unique backdrops, and you just have to find the right location, embrace it and time things right.
That's exactly what Bill and I did for his portrait session at the stunning Inn at Westwynd Farm. Bill needed a versatile set of portraits that captured both his professional presence and his personal warmth, and the sprawling farm setting gave us the perfect setting to work with. We wandered the property at an easy, relaxed pace, talking, exploring, and letting great shots happen naturally. It's one of my favorite ways to shoot, and Bill made it effortless. He has a genuinely warm personality and a fascinating background that comes through on camera.
This session was commissioned by Proactive Advisor Magazine for a feature on Bill and his company, Brennan Financial Group, based in Hockessin, Delaware. Be sure to follow the link below to see the full article and the finished images!
What makes this session extra special to me is the connection that brought us together. I first connected with Bill and his wife Natalia when I photographed a wedding at their gorgeous bed and breakfast, the very same Inn at Westwynd Farm. I had the honor of capturing Emily and Zachary's wedding there last year, and what a beautiful venue it was. When the opportunity came to return for Bill's portraits, I jumped at it.
If you're considering a portrait session, whether for professional use, a magazine feature, or simply to mark a meaningful chapter in your life, I'd love to chat about bringing your vision to life, whatever the season.
